In only his 4th game with the Mets, Justin Ruggiano works a helluva bases loaded at bat, spoiling several close pitches and taking two very good pitchers pitches. Finally with a 3-2 count he gets a fastball and drives it out to dead center for a grand slam.

So happy for him.
Glad the Giants pulled out the win 10-7.
(Either the 1-2 or 2-2 pitch should have been strike 3...****ing umpire)

Not only that, it was against one of the best pitchers in baseball- Bumgarner. So makes it that much more impressive.

Neither of those pitches was a strike. They are pitches that Bumgarner usually gets, but not strikes. ...which just proves why we need electronic strike zones. A strike should be a strike, and a ball a ball, no matter what name is on the jersey.
