Even getting the call right, the delay helps limit the momentum and emotion. Letting that play out and making the correct call in real time creates a lot more energy in Florida's favor.
It's pretty wild that a power hitting catcher can get a bunt on the ground.

Finding a way to get it done is largely due to things beyond your control.
Aggies have runner on 1B one out and Choruby hits a ball hard and gets doubled up. Florida bleeds one through and ties the game. All you can do is put a good swing on the ball then it is out of your hands.

Both good teams fail to score in the 10th. I guess good team pitching > good team clutch hitting that inning.

Hollman getting the bunt down or not attempting to bunt 2 balls over his head was something he could control. Choroby wouldn't have batted with a runner at 1st if he would have done his job. That wasn't a very good example.
That good team got it done in the 9th to be able to have a chance to beat the other good team in extra innings.....or not, depending on which good team gets it done in extra innings.
Every good team is 0-fer when trailing after 9.
If good team Florida did not open up the eighth inning by giving LSU extra base after extra base by throwing the ball around and a blown call by blue would we still be talking about good team LSU finding a way to win?
