Unless the softball facility is already funded, I do not see how you raise funding enthusiasm with a coach who cannot win in the SEC.

Especially one with 20 years at her current job and maybe two really good years to show for it.

Pitchers walked or hit 11 batters, and 7 of them scored. 5 of the first 6 runs for Florida got on by walk or being hit.
There are 2 spots in the lineup when offensive production is almost zero, Designated Player and Right Field. And Riley is hitting .209 in league play.
The team played mad when they beat Bama and they need to play that way again.

I would like to see Jo give Alex the start in CF. With Trinity pitching Erica will be in the batting lineup, and she is hitting .083 for the season, so why not give Alex a shot in her last home series?

Pitching woes continued with another 8 batters walked or hit, and the first 3 runs got on base via walk or hit by the pitcher. In 2 games, 19 batters hit or walked, and 10 of them scored. In the 6th inning the right fielder had a play on the ball at the wall and could not make the play, and that runner scored. At least Arkansas lost the first game of their series with LSU, which clinches us a spot in the SEC Tournament as the #12 seed. The other bright spot, sort of, is that Florida has given up 53 runs in 50 games this year, and we have scored 6 of them.
