the Ags have a great opportunity to extend their lead in the West division with LSU/OleMiss/State/Bama all playing one another. Each maroon-n-white win will gain another game on somebody.

and the BDF...might get some clarification on the league this weekend...or maybe not if Tech falters again and the horns keep winning

Texas' current RPI is 101 with a remaining schedule of:

vs. Oklahoma State (3) - RPI 26
vs. Prairie View A&M - RPI 297
at West Virginia (3) - RPI 114
vs. Texas State - RPI 157
vs. Baylor (3) - RPI 131

The games just aren't there to get their RPI where it needs to be. It's going to be win or go home for Texas when they get to the Big 12 Tournament.

We really need to take care of business against this surging Ark team...

Would also be nice if Bama could take that MSU series. Bulldogs are the biggest threat to us in the west standings given their last 3 SEC opponents (Mizz, @Aub, Ark) vs ours (Vandy, @USCe, Miss).

Might be, but I would honestly prefer FL to sweep SC. I want to have a clear line of sight over one of the two and I don't think we have a chance at that with FL.

I wouldn't mind a conference title, but my first priority is getting the national seed, and SC is a team that we need to see finish behind us (especially if we only manage one of 3 in Columbia).

Believe it or not, even after last night, his 3.62 era is best of their weekend starters (Valek - 3.78, Lange - 4.34).

All of our pitchers seem to have really regressed. It's so frustrating.

Poche always seems to have a bad inning where he gets shelled. It's a huge problem when the game is close.

Considering how many of our pitchers are upperclassmen, they've been really inconsistent and disappointing, considering that pitching was supposed to be our biggest strength.

Big win by LSU to even the series. Even 2 out of 3 in Oxford should get us back in the hosting conversation. Sweeping Tennessee on the road, as well as our 2-game series at Notre Dame will be huge for our RPI.

Kentucky starting to play their way out of the postseason after a great start. They need to figure it out quick.

MSU beat LSU, Vandy, and Florida all on the road. No team in the country has a slate of road series wins that impressive, right now. They're a legit Top 5 team, which makes you sweeping them at their place that much more impressive.

We did sweep them but they and Ole miss are (were) only two games back.

Statistically you should be rooting for lsu and Bama this weekend if you want the age to have the best chance at a conference title.
