Why doesn't this happen for the regional this weekend? Has anyone heard a reason? Seems like it would be easy to do IMO.

It wouldn't make a difference for me if it did. I'm a Dish customer and I have not been able to get anything to show up on the alternate channel all year.

Perhaps it would be different if it was scheduled in advance, but all of the circumstances where prior broadcasts went long and the other game was supposedly on the alternate channel never seemed to work.

My hope has been that it is a satellite issue and all the cable subscribers didn't suffer like me.

You're right though. You would think that with the network in place they would maximize its content as much as possible.
