The way the bracket is set up, it guarantees 1 SEC team will make the championship series, but the other side of the bracket is up for grabs.

Top Half

1. Florida
8. Tennessee

5. LSU
4. Auburn

Bottom Half

3. Michigan
6. Alabama

7. UCLA
2. Oregon

That's not technically true, because the losers of the winner's bracket games switch pools. Baseball keeps the 2 pools separate until the final, softball doesn't.

The bracket on the NCAA website doesn't show that.

The flash image just gets sloppy if you try to have the lines crossing, I think.

The committee just got it right this year - the top 8 seeds all made it. A&M would have played in Alabama's spot if they'd made it, but they wouldn't have been noted as the #6 seed.

Very tough league. There are 7 girls from Texas playing in the World Series none of which play for Jo Evans. Just another reason we need an upgrade at the HC position. Jo is getting second tier recruits and finishing. In the bottom half of the SEC. She had a hard enough time in the big12 and is now totally lost in the SEC.

They need a new stadium. That keeps recruits home. Evans is fine.

until Jo gets a good pitching coach to recruit better pitchers we will not have a real good team

It could have been even more domination by the SEC. Five of the super regionals were won by SEC teams, but Georia and Missouri also lost in the supers. It could have been 7 of 8.
