They're looking at being a on the road for Regionals. At the rate they're going, likely playing at a national seed in the Regional round. We are looking like a national seed. With the way we are playing, I'd finally feel confident playing them.
Austin paper was talking CWS and "best team since National Championship year" after just a week and half or two weeks of good games early in their season. But it was after they had lost a doubleheader to Rice.

I wouldn't write those guys off just yet. They will most likely win their conference pretty easily.
In addition, Soggie's teams always seem to play their best ball towards the end of the year and always pitch well.
From a talent standpoint, they have better players on the roster this year than they have had in the last few, they just haven't been able to pull it all together...yet.

I could be wrong, but I still wouldn't bet against Texas winning the Big 12.

I would. They are current;y sitting at 5-1 in first, but they have to go to OSU and to TCU. Both squads have a better overall record vs tougher competition.
Augie has the horns in a boom or bust cycle.
