Opening weekend Saturday --- showers, highs upper 50s, lows in lower 40s

Opening weekend Sunday - sunny, high 60, low in lower 40s

For Olsen, in mid-February, that's balmy.

We'll see if it sticks....

Olsen field is basically the moon when talking about temperature difference in shade and sunlight.

In the upper deck in the the sun or on the berms or the old bleachers in RF. it can be sunny and comfortable.
However if there is any north wind blowing and you're in the shade. It feels like it's about 15 degrees.

You have to dress according to where you're sitting. Olsen is a wind tunnel and basically acts as a refrigerator when the north wind blows.

Does Air Force Ag ever weigh-in on baseball forecasts?

I don't care what the forecast says. Olsen Field is down right cold!

Just be happy we can play outside. St. Johns came down one year on spring break in March and it was the first time they had even been outside to play on a real field. It might be chilly but it beats playing in 25 degree weather like they have to up here in Mo.

I dont care what the weather report says, it's opening day. Which means it'll be overcast with a light drizzle and 20 mph wind coming from the north.

No cold fronts expected between Friday Morning and Sunday evening, so wind should be blowing OUT most of the weekend

Forecasts are are changing a bit (that's why anything past 4-5 days is so low confidence)

Some are showing a cold front coming through sometime during the series, either late Friday or sometime Saturday, which would likely mean north winds (blowing IN from center) for the Saturday game

Some are still showing south winds throughout the series

Should start coming into focus in the next day or two
