What happened to Troy? Was he injured? His MLB stats on goggle only show him playing in 5 games ending June 25.

Yes that last game Troy slid into second on his face. Everyone was concerned with Troy's bloody mouth which turned out okay. Troy was catching in this 13 inning game and the ball was hitting his mitt and falling out. This was when they discovered Troy had injured his thumb in the slide. As you may be able to tell from his stats the Rockies really like him and want him to play in another league when his thumb is ready.
