No hard evidence from just his twitter account indicating he is in the States, but he did recently update his twitter heading to say 'Texas A&M Basketball #TAMU20' instead of 'Texas A&M Commit' so I guess there's that.

In terms of getting cleared, since the NCAA is notorious for being a black impenetrable box with regards to anyone knowing where anyone is in the process, all you will likely hear is words like 'hopeful/optimistic/still waiting' etc until Judgement Day finally arrives.

Bob, I figured the hang up with him was more likely to be amateur status certification stuff due to him coming out of that Barcelona club rather than grades. I remember seeing an interview on him where they seemed to mention his academics were very good.

I am thinking the case with Vila if he misses games is most likely to be like Trocha last season. He will be practicing and such but might get hit with a handful of games starting the year.

Yeah I can't speak to any of that, but unlike the others I think he is actually enrolled. Though figuring that out was a bit of a challenge as it appears his surname is actually Martinez.

Martinez is his second surname, i.e. His mother's surname which he uses in accordance with Spanish naming conventions. Same as tonny trocha Morelos. So if a&m lists Martinez as his surname, it is a mistake.

Bobinator is correct. Eric Vila is enrolled as a business major in the public student directory.
