I recently began eating a lot of seafood again, but do not enjoy having to drive to fish markets.. I found a website for a place out of San Antonio called Groomer Seafood, and they ship seafood from their website.. For $9.95 shipping cost in Texas until the end of October, for any weight... Not sure of the price after that, but wow.. I never imagined I would find something of this quality that would be shipped overnight without paying an arm and a leg for shipping.. Apparently the owners are Ags, so I thought I would pass it along.

Fresh seafood in San Antonio, didn't realize the beach ran than far inland.
Two hours from the coast in ice isn't any different than any seafood store on the coast. And they all have to wait for the boat ride in with their catch on board. You can have fresh seafood in Colorado if you handle it and ship it correctly.

Rick Groomer lives in our 'hood. One of the best places around to buy seafood. They have a big place in Corpus as well. He has a large wholesale operation to all area restaurants. I am tempted to email and ask him to bring me 100# o crawfish now and then so I don't have to drive to SA

Just an FYI.... Seemed like a great deal to share. I fish on the coast, and is where my fish handling knowledge comes from..
