Jesus. How the **** did you hold onto the ear plugs you were issued in 1975? If I was able to keep a pair a month without losing them I was doing well. I'm impressed.

Vietnam 70-71
No earplugs in basic training
No earplugs during rifle range trips while training for my MOS which was field crypto repair
No earplugs in Vietnam
Was frequently on LZs where ear plugs should have obviously been supplied. None.
VA 0% disability for hearing loss
VA 10% disability for tinitus
I think the VA disability folks are irresponsible with respect to hearing loss. They try to blame it on something non Army related.
