Sherlock's at Thousand Oaks and 281 has closed, and will become Big Texas Ice House and Dance Hall, opening in the fall. In today's Express-News. I suppose the Young Aggies will get a happy hour scheduled there soonest?

They had a pretty long run for a night club. I tossed a few back more than once there, but it had been a while since I'd been there.

I was a bit surprised, but the crowds have been thin there over the past several years.

The Pearl area has sucked some of the wind out of the commercial areas in Alamo Heights proper it seems to me.
