Hi guys. I'm replacing some past their prime wax leaf myrtles in my backyard along a back fence with a pool. The waxleafs (2) are on the ends with some holly "trees" and a magnolia spanning the pool in the middle of this back fence run.

Any suggestions for these corner locations?
What is anyone's experience with Vitex, especially around a pool (how much stuff do they drop)?

This is in north Dallas--Allen, to be specific.

Thank you all very much.

A lot of people hate Vitex, but I like them. Around a pool, I would be hesitant simply because in the winter they lose everything and look dead. I suppose if the other plants you have are maintaining some foliage they may be ok there. They look great when they are flowering in the summer time.
