I have a spot in my main drain line that is problematic. I know it will eventually lead to getting the line replaced. In the interim, I've had to have the clog snaked from the house clean out. However, the clog is about 30 feet down the house clean out. Can you snake from the clean out at the house/city responsibility line up towards the house? Most pictures I've seen show that clean out line intersecting the main line at an angle opposite from the house. This would make it a pretty hard turn with the snake.

not really knowing much about specifics, I would think it all depends on the flexibility of your snake...can it u-turn at that sharp of an angle while inside the line?
