Pool math says 60-70% drain

I'm close to that as well and will ride out the winter until spring to do my drain and refill. With temps down the algae has already retreated, so I'd rather not have more CYA added over the winter into something we won't use much. Hopefully I can convince the rib to do the re-plastering over the winter which will take care of that.

This....I let my CYA get much higher before I drain/fill

easiest way to figure it is to time filling a 5 gallon bucket with one faucet while all three are running. Assuming one faucet pumps 7 gpm X 3 = 21 gallons per minute, comes to 15 hours 52 minutes to fill a 20k pool.
