Updated with photos. Awesome course!

Anyone played here? Looks like the best option (Highest rated course in NM by golf digest). I'll be in Sante Fe 2 days next month and then Albuquerque another 2 before driving down to Carlsbad. Looking to play at least one round out there. Anyone have any suggestions?

Paa Ko is the best.

Sandia has a good course.

Black Mesa is awesome but a little ways out.

Twin Warriors is a great track.

I've played all of the above numerous times. Heard good things about UNM golf course but never played it.

Was not a fan of Paa Ko because of all of the blind shots. Sandia is ok, and have heard Twin Warriors is nice. University Club is fine as well.

Made many trips there.

University course is good, but not as good as I expected.

Unless you have to be in Carlsbad the next day, take a two day detour to Ruidoso and play one of their courses and hit up the casino.

Course was in awesome shape! Shot an 81 (43-38) from the blues (7300 yards) Considering that was my first time playing at any type of elevation I'll take it. Had to tinker and think about my yardages constantly and flew some greens I probably would not have normally, but it got better as I went. The elevation changes were great and they did a nice job laying the course out with the existing land. Makes the holes much more spread out and 50% of the time you can only see the current hole you're on.

The Kentucky blue grass fairways and rough with the bent grass greens were in perfect condition
