Lochinvar
Golf Club of Houston
Woodforest
Walden on lake Conroe
Houstonian CC
Cypresswood Golf Club,
Sweetwater CC (not really sure how this made the list)

Also, as much as I love Moody Gardens, it is no where near the number 3 public course in the state.

I'm interested in if the judges panel actually played these courses, or, just read snippets about them on the Internet.

TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas is ranked WAY too high in relation to the courses its ahead of.

Does anyone here think the TPC course is better golf than Barton Creek - Canyons?

Also, Sherrill Park #2 makes the list?

The #2 Course isn't even the best course out of the (2) Sherrill Park courses.

I like seeing Shady Oaks at 10. That is a badass course.

RamRock in the 60s is ridiculously low.

these type lists are nothing more than guys basically selecting courses and drawing names out of a hat, or so it seems....

River Ridge in Sealy doesn't get a mention is hilarious...

It looks like i've played 15, maybe 16 of them. I've got a 2night stay 2 rounds of golf pass for blackjack crossing I just havent found the time do drive that far from DFW.

Of my list, I would put Brook Hollow #1 followed closely by Colonial. Big gap to the rest. Would move Barton Creek Canyons way up into the 20s. Would move Sugar Tree in to the 70s and Squaw Valley out.

Overall seems like a good list from the ones I've played. Just wish I'd played more.

The Dye Course at 49 is pretty laughable, especially being below so many of the DFW courses on that list m

It's a top 10 course in the state hands down

I think that's always the concensus on here. Didn't realize there was ever a fight or anyone who disagrees with that.
