What's the course that was in or around Magnolia? It was a cheap course that didn't have much of a budget but its on a beautiful piece of wooded property with lots of lakes and undulation.

Is that place not open anymore? Or renamed?

I was. And now google tells me it's a new course. I bet it's fantastic. That piece of property was perfect.

I was out there 3 weeks ago and it's a really interesting, unique course. It's going to be a pretty high density residential development though. That was the only negative I saw.

By unique you mean just like Augusta National?

More like unique for the local area.

12 is really the only hole I saw that jumped up and screamed Augusta.

Played it Friday...and by Augusta I think he means the look of the entire course..no undergrowth in the mulch, emerald green, rolling hills and towering pines....It was brilliantly beautiful.

12 is the only "replica" of Augusta with a different approach angle.

The staff is 1st class, amenities first class....might never get out there again, but would pay good money to do it again.
