I finally bit the bullet and joined a local course. I have been thinking about doing this for a few months now, and finally pulled the trigger. I am excited to finally be able to get in a few holes after I work whenever I want. It was very frustrating trying to budget golf into monthly expenses. Now it is a fixed rate for me and the wife.

Good job. You'll enjoy it. I consider myself to be pretty down to earth, but there is just something different about private club membership. It's a better experience with less hassle and usually you'll find that the respect for the game/course is just better

What course? Have any guest passes you need to unload?

its a semi-private one located in Austin County...sorry no guest passes.

I miss conroe country club badly. But after moving to league city I've grown to enjoy club Corp down here. I do miss the days where I could go out and be the only person on the course. Sadly those types of country clubs are a dying breed

Join one with a really high initiation fee and that should do it.
