I haven't golfed seriously in nearly 8 years. Time and money went away. Money has come back, and time can be managed.

I live on the border of Katy and Houston and don't know anyone remotely close who are even decent. Anyone in the area wan to try and get together sometime? I'm open to any course.

I have a group that plays most Fridays, teeing off between 12:00 and 1:00 pm. Most of the time we have room for 1 more individual. You're welcome to join us. We are very leisurely. Like to BS, talk about the latest pair of tits one of us played with , joke around about each other's golf game, etc.

Handicaps of the group: 8, 15, 18.

I love the Club Corp selection/variety in the Houston area. If it wasn't for the proximity of where I live to Golfcrest vs Club Corp courses, I probably would have joined Club Corp instead.

I'm normally willing to drive within an hour, but tomorrow I have to drop my son off at school at 7:25 and need to be back at the house by 2, so I have to play somewhat close to Katy.

It's a good course. If you ask 100 people, opinions will be split 50/50. It's a bit quirky at times, but I think it's a fun course to play and a great test. Plays much longer than the 6800-ish from the tips.

Have they gotten their greens back to playable?

I've played there a few times in the last couple months and they've been the worst greens in the city. Long, bouncy, fuzzy, and impossibly slow.

They're usually on their game so not sure what went wrong recently.

No, they're still pretty fuzzy, bumpy, and inconsistent on speed but the course is too dang close and too dang nice to walk to go anywhere else.
