Anyone play in Japan?

Potentially heading to Tokyo for three weeks and would love to get a round in if possible. A few things that I've read that may hurt this are it's really tough to play as a single and rental clubs are tough.

Anyone have any experience or recs?

I've only hit at a range in Osaka. Rental clubs sucked but was fine for taking it easy.

Try to get on through your hotel several courses near the airport. Crime de la cream Yomiuri Golf course tough to get on immaculate. Rental clubs not hard. Course fees high. Lunch after 9 holes. Best of all is the Japanese hot bath at the conclusion. All day affair. Have fun spent 15 years in Tokyo. Class '68

I have heard that it is an all-day activity and very expensive.

Everything in Japan is expensive. Especially if it's any good.

Nothing good in japan is cheap! Was there for a study abroad 2 years ago and the golf was amaxing it is an all day affair as one prevuously stated.
