The top of the game is very competitive right now, which is good, but I think that makes it almost impossible to predict majors. Sounds plausible for Rickie to win one after competing in all four last year, but there are about 20 other guys good enough to win the three American majors on a normal day, plus the random hot streak that a journeyman might get on, plus the random foreign guys that always pop up in the British.
Spieth to win the FedEx Cup is a good pick. He's so consistent. He's like a young Kuchar (as far as consistency goes) but with more winning ability. He'll contend a lot and should rack up points all year.
I think Phil will contend in one major. Might win, might not, but he isn't done yet. But other than that and one or two other hot weeks, he won't do much IMO.
I do think Rory is going to win another major this year and contend in two or three. Not sure if Tiger will contend in any of them until I see if he has fixed his chipping issues that cropped up after the new coaching change. I think he will strike the ball well enough to win. Chipping and putting? We'll see.
I think Horschel will have another big year. And I think Adam Scott is in a good place, in the prime of his career, and will contend in a couple majors.
