So my FIL bought a 2014 golf cart last year and according to the serial number its a 2014 EZ-GO TXT-valor. The dealer he bought it from quoted me 650 bucks which I thought was a bit steep. Are these things specific to the cart model or will a cheaper generic one work just as well. Any suggestions on where to look for one?

They have generics at Golfsmith. I got this one for $40 when it was on sale.

It has a bag access, but its not terribly convenient. One of the others might be nicer and still way less than $650.

If it's his own golf cart and he's not just throwing it on any cart available at the course, he will want one made for his cart. Also, If I was using my cart to play in the winter, I'd want one with hinged doors. You can find them at buggiesunlimited.com for about $500.
