Anyone ever shipped golf clubs rather than checking them? Who did you use? Good/Bad experience?

Fedex. Corpus Christi to San Diego. I shipped them out there and flew with them back (I couldn't fly out there with them...long story). Cost just under $100. I actually had them mailed to a friends house, but you can have them sent straight to the golf course pro shop. No complaints, but it's pricey.

Ship sticks is pretty sweet. They picked them up from my golf club for me and they were ready for me on the first tee of Bandon dunes. Then just have em back to Bandon guys at end of trip and said they were going out via ship stix and they were delivered back to my home course and put back into bag storage without me ever touching them. Only down side other than cost is the time in advance you have to send them out to get to your destination in time. They have faster options but those are very pricey.
