You're in for a very long round...this course is not fun to play when wet; it does not drain well. It will play much, much longer (more than the obvious)...the cart-path only rule coupled with a lot of guest-gameday golfers unfamiliar with the course will stifle the speed of play immensely.
That said, place / target the ball for high landing areas. Get a course map. You can be in the fairway off the tee, yet have a poor sight / line to the green; 2nd & 3rd shot lies / placement are premium for scoring. No matter how good your sand play is, stay out of the bunkers; they don't drain well and will be like mud puddles. Greens are awesome & true; rain or shine.
