Long overdue. I think step #1 is to follow the Euro model on captains and spend some time grooming your future captain - i.e. make sure they spend the previous RC or two as an asst captain.

Would be nice to see Azinger as the next captain, along with a vice captain or two that you have in mind for 2018 and possibly even 2020. To the point several have made, they have to start taking a long-term approach to building the team, and that starts with the leadership. For this round, go get a veteran captain and some vice captains that you'll groom to succeed.

He said his answer wasn't no, it was not yet. Also, he's never even met three of the people on it in person, and the PGA hasn't really talked to him about the RC since 2008.

Some of our point losses were by guys who played really good , but just got beat. With Reed , Spieth {hook 'em} ,Walker and Fowler , our future is bright.

Spieth played well with Reed but his performance in singles is the exact s##t that has been causing the Americans to lose. He's 3 up through nine holes, then proceeds to lose five of the next six holes. And he was losing with bogeys -- he didn't "just get beat" it was a classic American Ryder Cup choke job.

Concur.

Stop playing like sh.t and it wouldn't be a problem. If you need to be placed in pods and feel all chummy with your pals in order to play well, then you're just a poosay.

Man the hell up and go play instead of looking for excuses.
