I'm playing in the wounded warrior open put on by the Bush Center. I was one under going into 9 and all uncoils think about was "don't **** this up!" So naturally I double bogeyed #9 and #10 and continued to lose control. Crazy game.

I had a 38 49 round this year. Uggh.
Had a 38 49 round last week. It's really made me think about taking a long time off from the game.
One of the many examples of how golf mimics life.
When you think you're good, you're reminded you're not.
When you feel entitled, you're reminded otherwise.
When the Ags lead Okie State 21-3 at half and you start pounding your chest on Rivalries, well....see above.
Chin up on those scores....if you shoot 38 you know you're almost there. Remain humble, do work and you'll slay the dragon. 38/49 is much better than 43/44. And you're already in the top 20% of all golfers with that score....well done.

Well stated. NOTHING ever lasts long with this crazy, cruel game. But it does make the Highs really special when you battle thru the Lows.
I would kill a kitten to shoot 38-49 consistently. Don't feel so bad fellas.
Well........at least the 38 part haha. I've had my fair share of 49's.
I started off with an incredible drive. After that it was pretty poor. Shot a consistent 58-58.
worst I have witnessed is 30-50 (not by me)
Playing in one of the money games at my club a couple weeks ago, a guy in my group (11 handicap) shot 35-46. Going to the back, I sure did him needing to go to wallet post-round but that's what happened.
Well I flipped it today. Shot a 46/39 today! Had two 8's on the front. What a game!

I tend to be king of the 45-37 as opposed to the 37-45. I'm a 5 handicap, but my most common hiccup is the slow start where I'll mix in 2-3 doubles in the first 5 holes.
