This will be my first round out there. Any of you guys played it before? Anything unique that I should be prepared for in advance?

Playing the Canyons Course at JW Marriott TPC in SA on Friday - Any Advice

It is easier than the Oaks Course. Pretty open. Much like La Cantera. keep it out of the brush.
Hit it in the fairway and you're good. Fun course.
They're getting it ready for the Champion's Tour event so I'm sure it's in great shape.
Course was in good shape, beer was cold, cart girls were smokin hot (seriously hottest cart girls I've ever seen), but the greens were really hard. Like pavement hard, and fast. I don't think I saw a ball mark all day. It was fun, but some better greens would have improved the experience a little.
Hard and fast greens aren't necessarily bad. I played the Oaks Course last week and the greens were the same. Great shape and rolled true. you just have to adjust your game to them.
