Malik is well on his way to being a top 5 rounds NFL draft pick.

Yes. He was a prik when he piled on Sumlin and A&M when we had those miserable 6 months with transfers, bowl game loss and decommitments. He insinuated Sumlin lacks discipline and A&M racist--POS

I watched a decent portion of their legendary victory over Notre Dame. Totally forgot this idiot played for the sips until they showed him laying face down on the field after getting his bell rung.

My guess is that when they fire Chollie, he'll use it as an excuse to quit the sips and sit a year before going to OU to ride the pine until his career selling used cars in Tulsa begins.

Like the rest of the sips, Malik gets to stew in his own juices and lay in the bed he made for himself.

Let's hope, for his sake, that lessons don't come so slowly to him as his brethren.

Malik seems to be a good young man, so I hope he eventually gets to play for a staff that doesn't mis-utilize him and play him out of position at ILB like the current sip coaching staff does.

Unfortunately, the sip media and their fanbase have continuously overhyped Malik and pumped out tons of p.r that promotes him as a great inside linebacker.

But if you watch his game film, he isn't.

Malik doesn't have an inside linebacker's mentality and an ilb's love for straight-ahead hitting rb's between the tackles.

Texans have seen many great collegiate inside linebackers from our home state play college football: Mike Singletary, Zach Thomas, Quentin Coryatt, Dat Nguyen, Johnny Holland, Tommy Nobis, and other great SWC/B12 ILB's.

Malik does not deserve to be mentioned with those cfb ILB's. He doesn't play the ILB position anywhere close to the level that those guys played the position.

However, he could be very good if he was used in a classic 3-4 defense's olb position. In that role, he would present a ton of problems to offenses like John Roper, William Thomas, and Marcus Buckley did.

That is what I was thinking but not sure if it was him.

Speaking of former A&M linebacker commits, whatever happened to that Nelson kid that changed his commitment to ou on signing day?

how about we not tweet at teenagers. We obviously got the better end of the deal (Chavis) and tweeting smack at players sounds petty.

Depends on what you read. I've seen his hometown listed as Galilee.

I don't tweet at all but Malik is a grown ass man (even if Mama makes all his decisions for him).

You should only Tweet at teenagers if you are on the Pluckers wall of fame and resemble Grossburger from "Stir Crazy", cell mate of Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder.

Or you are a former pitcher at St. Edwards who is a t-shirt sip living in Belton getting fired from your real estate job by your Aggie boss.
