Yes.

I was at the game and never heard how bad the announcers actually were, until now.

Kind of explains the sip delusion. When Miami asss-raped them in the Cotton Bowl, the announcers sounded like PETA members defending a helpless species, but damn if it didn't work.

Freakin' NCAA put new rules that were completely aimed only at Miami by the next year. They had done the same crap to Notre Dame and Nebraska many others,and no one raised that kind of a stink, but the sacred cows???? OMG!!!! IT MUST END NOW!!! WE NEVER SUCK THIS BAD!! UNSPORTSMANLIKE!!!

Doesn't matter. All losses in 2014, 2015, and 2016 are Mack Brown's fault. Charlie's record at Utx begins in 2017 after all of Mack's lazy 4* and 5* no-character criminal loser recruits are gone.
