Their weekly "Who's In?" show on ESPNU drilled baylol last night. The hosts could barely keep a straight face when talking about them being in the playoff... some entertaining quotes...

"there will be 1-loss, possibly 2-loss teams, that will get more consideration over an undefeated baylor"

"Don't forget their game-changing win over Buffalo"

"They have a 1-game season this year, and that's against OU"

"127 out of 128 SOS...can't spin your way out of that..."

Briles still insists that no matter who Baylor plays, including their weak non-conference and conference foes this season, the Bears can back into the national championship mix with an undefeated season. That old-school BCS thinking is not going to work with the new Selection Committee...

I believe this show is maintaining their own power lists as the season moves on...57 was pre-season, right? I think they are looking at how pathetic the BDF is turning out to be and adjusting accordingly.

Not defending Baylor's schedule but that "127" was games played to date (and before Iowa State I'm fairly sure). To date, I'm guessing Wyoming has a great strength of schedule given that they played Oregon and Michigan State both on the road.

They made the "based on games played so far" pretty clear in the piece.

Remember when Hawaii went to the Sugar Bowl and got crushed by an SEC team? I believe that Hawaii's SOS was 124 or so. At the time, there were only 120 FBS schools. Hawaii's SOS was behind several FCS schools.

They only have one big game vs. ou to make it. If they do they get in and get killed like a commuter school (UCF) who is out of their league.
