That might be the end of Blue Bell.

Pretty pathetic actually that the company can't run a clean operation and put out a safe product.

I actually read a few articles and the original recall was a supplier, so Blue Bell recalled their products containing the recalled items. Seems like a supply chain problem and not Blue Bell facility problem this time.

Supplier issue. But still, pick a few things and do it well. Don't trick it up with 20 new flavors.

If this is true then good riddance.

Hopefully it's just them being very cautious.

It appears to be an outside vendor this time:

They shouldn't get a pass for bad vendor controls.

As long companies can sell cigarettes, I think Blue Bell should just come out with listeria ice cream and be done with it. Listeria and Lime? Listeria Nut Crunch? Listeria Mango Sherbert?

Just put a label that says "May contain Listeria" and be done with it.

The ice cream in question is not contaminated. It passed their test and hold procedures. They are just recalling the ice cream out of an abundance of caution. They can't afford to have anyone get sick off of their ice cream.

The funny thing is, had they done this (be overly cautious) when the first incidents happened, they would have faired much better.

Yep. Agreed. Now, when they do this, everyone is flipping out and saying, "What??? Not again???" When it's not the same thing at all.

At least they're not Chipotle, who tries to fix their problems by tweeting sexual innuendo to try to be cool with millennials and whatever's coming after them.
