with announcing hiring 10,000 people, growing to compete with the wal marts, etc. thoughts/opinions on buying in now and holding long term ?

I work at a CPG company.

I view the following retailers as long term winners:
1. Amazon
2. Costco
3. Kroger
4. Dollar General

SAMs club seems lost. Wal-Mart is under attack from every direction. Wal-Mart isn't going away but hard to see growth for them.

Doesn't mean their valuation is in a place to buy but if bought at the right price, they are likely going to have good news and growth into the future.

Last week my algo bought Five Below, Inc. (FIVE), which is another dollar store like DG.
