we are going to be driving through your fine city on our way to St. louis, and Little Rock is fairly close to half way, so were thinking we'd find a public park to let the kids run around and play for 45 minutes or so before continuing on our way. can you recommend a park that's in an ok part of town that isn't too big of a detour off of I-30? bonus points if there's a chick-fil-a or the like nearby. thanks!

Although little rock/north little rock has options, if you are taking highway 67 through Searcy, there are numerous hotel and eating options including Chick Fil A, and it's a much smaller area with a small town feel only 40 minutes the other side. Harding University is the primary thing there but several parks come to mind mostly thinking Berryhill Park which is at 501 Davis Dr, and the chick fil a's would be both on campus but also a freestanding one near the lowes and Walmart at Race Street and Hwy 67.

Jacksonville has the Air Force base and there are a couple parks near but it can get sketchy faster than you may want.
