Thought the travel nerds and avgeeks would appreciate these, shot by a good friend of mine around the world.

LAX - This image went viral two years ago and gave him the idea to do it around the world

FRA - the Lufthansa A380 missed the landing and was pulling up for a go-around

ZRH - the two runway configuration is for noise abatement

Shot from the beach in Los Angeles of airplanes on final approach to LAX

Amazing. A couple of years ago I was at Doha on a Saturday morning flying back to the states, and there were 15-20 777/787s parked on the tarmac, prepping to depart.

Pretty cool scene, especially reading the board in the lounge, seeing virtually every major destination in the world scheduled within 2 hours of each other.
