Trying to reserve spots and curious, we are taking the ferry (with car) from Seattle in November - should we go up to Anacortes or try the one at Port Angeles? I'm leaning towards Anacortes so we'll maybe see different sites but wow that's early at 8:30 departure.

Return trip we will take the ferry into Port Angeles and head directly to Portland.

We will be in Victoria from Wednesday - Saturday across Thanksgiving; any suggestions welcome. Group is family of five, kids g13-b17-b20.

I'm only familiar with the Port Angeles ferry and it was fine. LOVE the island. We stayed at Brentwood Bay Resort and drove the Pacific Route and saw Port Renfrew (Botanical Beach). You must see Butchart Gardens. Victoria is lovely. You really can't go wrong.
