Going to Vegas in January and rooms are as expensive as I've ever seen them.

Friend is staying at TI...rooms are $206/night, don't really want to stay there, especially for that price.

There is a 5 star express deal for $150/night. It's in the "Las Vegas Strip North Area"...any guesses as to what it might be?

I don't consider Trump as part of the strip. Too far away.

I got Trump when I booked an Express deal. It is NOT on the strip, FYI. Nice place, but I was disappointed in the location. (And there's no casino in the hotel)

I didn't design the priceline model...don't shoot the messenger! (but yeah, I wouldn't want to be at Trump either).

You can sometimes get really good deals at the Venetian, especially in off peak times. Sign up for their email specials. I think we stayed there for $150/nt in the middle of November last year.
