Beltre was essentially "Hall of Very Good" when Texas signed him.

He's going to end up Top 30 in career WAR... He's a no-doubter.
Yep, and he'll be the 3rd Ranger in the Hall.

Don't care what the plaque says, he's in the HOF for his Angels days.

I'd be curious if there were a national poll done to see where people most remember Nolan playing.

Right or wrong, this is why most fans remember Nolan Ryan as a Ranger.

Soon to be two Ranger HOFs in one classic photo.

I'd say most remember Nolan Ryan for his multiple no-hitters as a Ranger, not for clocking Ventura (even though that was a fantastic moment).

Perhaps I should have said that this is why the casual baseball fan remembers him as a Ranger. But I could be wrong and probably am. But I would be OK with that.

Mauer, Posey, Posada and Molina are better than the "heyday" catchers of the 70's IMO.

um, Johnny Bench was a first ballot hall of famer. Got 96% of the vote.

2-time NL MVP and 10-time gold glove winner.

single-handedly destroyed the Yankees in the 76 world series --- went 8 for 15 with 4 x-base hits.

he's one of the top 25 players of all-time (post-WWII)

I don't know why I took the time to do this, but here are the stats for the 4 players mentioned above
Would it be possible to add Tim Raines?
