Vince Carter, MJ, Dominique Wilkins, and Dr. J all have good cases for being the best. Shawn Kemp and Blake Griffin are probably the best big man dunkers.

The crazy thing about Carter is that every 10 games or so even when he played for the Mavs he would STILL throw down a sick dunk. Not Vinsanity level, but still awesome dunks

Jason Richardson's dunks were tactically beautiful.

Blake is underrated on your lists. At his peak for dunking (11 and 12 seasons) he was a force of nature we hadn't seen in a long time.

Vince around 99 and 2000 was the best pure dunker i've ever seen

Vince's dunk on Dream was when I knew it was over.

Dunk was so sick he broke this announcer's mind.

Yeah but he couldn't execute a dunk that required you to jump off of one foot.

Wilkins could ONLY execute dunks when jumping off of two feet.
The best dunkers can leap from one or two feet when dunking.

I still loved Jordans dunk from the free throw line. He even had a little pump while doing it. The way he could hang was amazing. The reason it was so special is because many tried to copy it and couldn't come close. They would leave a full foot in front of the line and then stretch to make it. Jordan made it look effortless.

Only one I can remember legitimately landing it was James White And he almost made it look easy.

Edit. Confused White with Brewer.

Brent Barry took off from farther back than Jordan did. But everyone's right, Jordan's form was beautiful.

But the reason James White is on my list is because he was doing things from behind the line that nobody else in the world could do.

James White is crazy good (at dunking only).

White does a between the legs dunk from the free throw that looks super easy.
