I think you saw last night that Deandre has work to do. Tim Duncan crushed him for an entire game. Kawhi takes players out of the game and he can guard the 1-4 spot. Deandre can take away about 4' of court space around the rim.

I know that sounds like its diminishing his ability, and Im not trying to. Deandre is incredibly valuable and changes the game around the rim. But I dont think he's as good as Kawhi is.

Not really. Green had the most first place votes with 45, Kawhi had 37, Deandre had 32. Kawhi had close to double to the number of second place votes of Green and Deandre though.

I could see Tim being so pissed at how the league handled this series that he comes back next year and pushes the team to another title run.

I would have really liked to see Pop call that timeout after the clock issue
It threw everything off

Uh it didn't look like he was touched. Paul shouldn't have gotten his call, then Tim should've gotten his call even though it wasn't really a foul.
