The Aggie Soccer teams continues their first 2016 roadtrip when they head to Alabama to face the Crimson Tide on Sunday. The game will kickoff at 6PM in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama is currently 7-3-1 on the year and fell to 1-1-1 in conference play with Friday's 1-2 loss to Arkansas. They tied Kentucky 1-1 and destroyed Tennessee 5-1 earlier this season. Altogether, Alabama has outscored opponents 22-8.

The scoring charge has been led by junior Lacey Clarida's (#88) 6 goals. Fantastic sophomore Abbie Boswell (#6) has 5 goals and a team high 6 assists. This is a talented pair of forwards that presents a potent scoring threat against A&M.

Junior Kat Stratton (#1) has served 894 minutes in goal for Alabama. She has allowed 8 goals and tallied 38 saves with 3 shutouts.

The Aggies lead this series 5-1 with the lone Alabama victory coming in the 1995 series opener.

Alabama is on an uptick after a miserable 2015 season (5-12-2). Texas A&M is not. Alabama is probably a better team than the Vanderbilt team the Aggies faced on Thursday. A&M really needs to win this game to boost the spirits in the locker room and of all the people that post on this thread.

With the current injury situation, I'm just asking for the team to outhustle Alabama and if we're still not good enough, so be it. But have to have effort.

The weekend had been disastrous with soccer losing Thursday and volleyball Friday, but then yesterday the men's cross country team won followed by Karis Jochen winning her race. Football kept it up last night and now it's time for the team to finish off the weekend on an up note. Except for not playing Arkansas the team controls whether it takes home the SEC trophy or not. I'll be looking for the captains to set the tone in this game.
