Tough weekend for Alabama. I hope Arkansas wears them down enough on Friday that we can get the win on Sunday.

Oh yeah, games are on Thursday not Friday. Less chance that Bama is worn down on Sunday.

I agree that the Thursday - Sunday games are better for the soccer players, but probably worse for academics. I wouldn't think the team would come back to CS late Thursday or early Friday, and then leave again Saturday. They will probably stay in Nashville Thursday evening and go to Tuscaloosa for the rest of the weekend.

Fortunately, I believe most of the ladies are pretty good students. Compared to a lot of the other sports, they don't miss a lot of class.

According to coach G on Aggie Soccer Hour, they stay for the weekend. Bus to Tuscaloosa on Game day because it is home football weekend and no hotels available.

this is their only trip like that for the season though. if it was a few times during the season that would add up.

Auburn is frustrating Savannah Jordan and Florida is lucky they aren't down 2-0. Should be an interesting second half.

Alabama will be a really tough game for A&M. They are better than Vandy, whom we just lost to badly.

A game back is not the worst place to be, but definitely makes the 'Bama game absolutely critical. And it won't be an easy one, as Hidden notes.

I saw the Auburn-Florida highlights on SEC Now. Good aggressive play by the Auburn forwards. Emily's goal at Florida last year was the result of aggressive play by her and mistakes by the Florida keeper and defenders just like last night.

It's Friday, and there's no SEC soccer.

The bottom two teams (Georgia and Miss St) are both tied with their respective opponents late in the second half of their games. Could be an interesting day.
