They could be a dangerous tandem if Johannsson can stay healthy. JK is in a pretty good predicament right now. Personally I am hoping Johannsson gives JK a reason to permanently drop Wondo from all future call-ups. I am ok with any combo of Wood, AJ, Jozy, and Pulisic. Hell, play them all at the same time!!!
Speaking of Pulisic, he made the bench but couldn't find the field as Dortmund fell to everyone's least favorite Bundesliga club. They were chasing the game and he wasn't favored to the new youngster they signed, Dembele.
Hopefully he will get some looks this year. Dembele looked good, very positive in his chance so that's more competition for minutes. Gotze was awful though so there's that. Gotta figure he resolves his form at some point though. Dortmund is in a lot of competition and there will be minutes if he can grab them.
They obviously rate him though, so I hope he gets used at least as much as last year.

Very mediocre half from Pulisic, wouldn't be surprised if he made way. Not the only one for Dortmund nit playing to standard though. Still a little time to make an impression tho
Leverkusen have played well though, pressing up and daring Dortmund to play long. Teuchel also messed up the tactics a bit, coming out with 3 in the back and switching immediately to their normal formation after conceding very early.

Pulisic went the full 90 today in the CL. Came incredibly close to a goal when he rocketed a volley over a stranded keeper only to see it clang off the bar.
Johnson was injured and missed for Gladbach.

Julian Green scored his 1st competitive goal for Bayern today in the German Cup. They fielded a pretty strong team so it doesn't seem like he got his start simply because they decided to field 11 reserves.
The fs2 announcers for this shalke-dortmund match are awful.
Pulisic makes great effort to track back and cover his fullback, gets clattered, apparently it was a "good derby challenge" even though it had no chance of making contact with the ball
Now criticizing him for not making much an offensive impact although Dembele has turned it over about 6-7 times already when pulisic has only turned it over once
Dembele never tracks back and has no end product either. Don't know why everyone is so flattered with him. Yeah the stepovers are pretty and the intent is nice but yeah. I think pulisic likely plays on the right because they have him maintaining his place when Reus comes back, with Dembele dropping to the bench

Not European, but Yarbrough helped Leon earn a draw a man down most of the game including a blocked PK.
