There are 3 Europa spots. 5th, EFL, and FA Cup. If the cup winners don't use the spot, it goes to the next team in the table. Both cup winners being in top 7 guarantees top 7 qualify as the spots just keep pushing down the table.

With a 10 point gap, Everton have all but qualified.

How profitable is Europa League? seems like all it does for a club like Everton is stretch a thin bench even thinner and hurt its chances for a decent finish in league play. I think i'd be ok with it if they took away the 3rd place Champions League knockout bids though.
