I guess Diaz made Urruti look a lot better than he is. I know he scored in this game off a broken play, but he hasnt done much today
same for barrios, he only has one move

Should have brought Lizzaro or whatever his name on for Morales about 20 minutes earlier

Just not right that teams can thug it up to take your playmaking player out for the playoffs. Teams just dirty foul Diaz all game long and no cards come out until its too late

Nobody could put the ball on target. Figueroa was a waste.

The game was over when Zimmerman didn't punt that ball out of the ****ing stadium. Saw that coming a mile away.

Despite the quick answer, we were never going to score 5 goals. Poor finishing in the first half doomed us. They were on the ropes but we couldn't finish. Punch one more in and who knows what happens.

Agreed about the ****show that is MLS refs and protecting players though. It's not like this is a new issue. Back when we had DF10 teams did the same routine. "Hack the tiny playmaker" should not be considered a legitimate means of defense. It would stop being an issue if refs would consistently enforce persistent infringement.

Of course, that's not really why we got eliminated. You can't dig yourself an 0-3 hole on the road in a 2 legged tie. Maintaining a clean sheet should be priority, even if it means you can't eek out an away goal.

THIS, ****ING THIS x ELEVENTY MILLION.

You go down 0-3 on the road and you've got about zero shot of coming home and winning it if your opponent can play any kind of defense. Add in that we were down Diaz and it was just a mail in at that point.

I trust in Papi and this team's leadership, but we are a few years out from winning the Cup without a significant DP addition and more depth.
