RockRiver AR-15
Details:
RRA lower reciever-purchased summer 2008, built using DPMS lower parts kit and
RRA National Match 2 Stage trigger. Hogue overmolded rubber pistol grip, and
standard A2 buttstock.
Upper Reciever- not sure on the make (I think it was Stag), no M4 feedcuts, 2
piece Aluminum Free Float tube with sling stud attached, single picatinny rail
gas block, Bushmaster Bolt Carrier Group (purchased 07/08, 900rnd count),
standard charging handle.
Barrel is a 24" HBAR, 1/9 twist, w/ 11 degree target crown. Not sure of
the round count down the barrel, it came from a Bushmaster A2 my dad bought in
2002, he used it 2 years and went to an SBR, barrel sat in a safe for 4 years.
I have put 900 rnds down it, and I would say the barrel definitely has less
than 5K rnds. It shoots great. I've have never used one of those vice rests to
see what it will really do, but I can shoot it sub-MOA.
Scope is an ATN 5x33L. This scope has a rangefinding reticle, and a .223 bullet
drop compensating turret. It has an illuminated reticle with 10 brightness
settings. Has some surface scratches on the turret covers. Flip-up scope covers
included.
