Thanks Dr. Gates! I was very blessed to have been there during your tenure. I also will always cherish my graduation picture and show it off to my kids and let them know that the Secretary of Defense gave me my diploma!
Or heck, maybe by then I will be saying the President of the US gave me my diploma...Only time will tell.

I tried to tell people last night and this morning about the goings-on on Texags and how Dr. Gates posted on the message board I now call my 2nd home, but either no one believed me, or they thought I was some kind of dork for spending so much time blogging. Oh well, I guess I can always feel welcome in my 2nd home. Eveyone in here is pretty cool... well, everyone with the user name lopez or pablito. Late.

I wish you all the best in your ventures. And when you're done in Washington, I'd love for you to come back to A&M so you can hand me my diploma when I finally graduate in May of 2009. Also, I just want to say I wish I could come out today and give you a farewell with all the other students, but I'm ill today and cannot make it. So I'll just leave you with words said many times on this campus.
