He trapped the ball. Refs should've reviewed the play! ****!

Looked like it hit the ground on the replay...
Crew didn't even think about reviewing it.

Can Anyone post a clip?
Yep! It's clear the ball left his grasp just before impact with the ground, after which he regained control as he bounced and smothered it with his body. Yet one more example of the lack of integrity in NCAA sports. The "Joneses" almost always "get the call"!Quote:
Clearly a dropped/trapped ball...
No one has claimed a conspiracy of ANY kind. Why the red herring?Drum5343 said:
There's nothing obvious about that video.
Maybe there's a simpler explanation as to why NO ONE talked about this. Maybe instead of there being a vast conspiracy, the media included, to prop up Alabama...
Maybe it was a catch.

People are suggesting that if it wasn't Alabama then it would have been overturned...that's a conspiracy isn't?BoerneGator said:No one has claimed a conspiracy of ANY kind. Why the red herring?Drum5343 said:

Just because YOU cannot see the ball drop does not mean others of us can't. It's clear as day to me, although it's a very brief moment (milli-second) just before impact with the ground that the ball is seen to be moving rearward, and out of his grasp. The ground allowed him to regain control with his RIGHT hand after impact as he rolled over. All of that is clearly visible in the slow-mo footage.

Reviews are done in the SEC offices located in ........ Birmingham. No way they would take that away from Bama.
Do not conflate human nature (the tendency to give a prohibitive favorite an advantage or benefit of any doubt- the Michael Jordan effect) with some kind of conspiracy. It's also the "homer" effect. It absolutely occurs, but it's not a conspiracy! It's simply human nature. But, it should be recognized, and called out when it occurs.Quote:

I think you jumped the gun. I was thinking the same thing as you but that clip "ags win" posed shows that he traped it. I don't think it's a bama conspiracy or anything but it looks like it was a missed call.Rojo Grande said:
It was good. Take your maroon colored glasses off and you can see it better.
Also caring about Aggie football is literally the purpose of Texags. Well that and therapy for people who can't stop thinking about Sumlin, Manziel, the B12 and Kyler Murray.BoerneGator said:Answer your own question.Quote:

Why do you care if others care?
