Anyone else see the video of the Alabama defensive end have a sit down with the sec network to break down the game and show how Avery was standing meant run or pass? They really should set a cap on the number of "consultants" or not allow it at all. I think they shouldn't be allowed. Everyone should have the same number of coaches and players to work with.

Every team does this. Not a big deal. Players watch other teams to find these tendencies. It's why there's film.

Sad our coaches didn't see it first.

Very strategic of him to let us know after we played them, so we can adjust for OTHER teams and help hurt their record should Bama happen to drop one. We are their best friend now . This is really gonna backfire when they have to face Gennessy next year! again! Oh wait ....

I assume Bama doesn't think we'll meet in the playoffs ...

I think the plan is to fix the snapping the ball issue by the next to last game and then focus on this for the last game.

It's not every time. I noticed this tendency last year. Lots of tackles actually do something similar, but he's more pronounced and consistent. He also moves on the signal rather than the snap on pass plays. He struggles to cut off speed rushes without doing those things.

EDIT: I assume the coaches are comfortable with the tradeoff, because anything I notice is plain as day to them.

Yeah people are acting like this is the end of the world. Our OLine run blocks on tons of pass plays. It is on the QB to get the ball out before they get up field. If anything his tell is something the staff has tried to fix but also have accepted it as cost of doing business.

Yea nothing like the cost of business being the defense knowing if we run or pass.. it's consistent and obvious enough for a DE on the opposite side of the field to watch him and notice it.. it can be fixed. It needs to be fixed.

Good post cuzo. Seems like this kind of thing wouldve been an obvious fix. The coaches are so blind by all the millions theyre getting. They let basic crap go right over there heads.
